Experiment for filmnoir scenes in Eastside.
Karin Kihlberg and Reuben Henry have been collaborating since 2004. Working primarily in video their practice explores filmic language through performance and collaboration. Sometimes they abandon the medium altogether in order to use the structure and function of film in unconventional ways, by re-applying it to new situations such as live art and performance, and through collaborative processes with participants and audiences.
They are based in Birmingham, UK, where they have also directed Springhill Institute, a seasonal programme of international artists production residencies, while for the past four winters they have worked in Barcelona, Sweden, Australia & China and Prague.
Karin Kihlberg & Reuben Henry are represented by Citric Gallery, Brescia, Italy
