Galeria Bielska BWA, Bielsko-Biala (www.galeriabielska.pl)
The gallery presents a wide range of contemporary art from Poland and abroad. Displays are changed every month. An important part of the gallery's activity is topic exhibitions to which we invite artists preoccupied with particular motifs that correspond with the problems and questions put forward through the exhibition. Galeria Bielska BWA also cooperates with galleries from the countries neighbouring with our region, promotes conceptual art, concrete poetry, performance, holds retrospective exhibitions of major 20th-century artists, shows the works of young artists whose individualism and originality betray great creative potential.
'Eurolace'
First of all, yellow stars - symbols of the new European flag - will be marked on the prepared plane. They will be connected with yellow lines, painted by students. The whole project will resemble the form of lace originated from Koniaków, the new flag of European Union and communication between members of European Union. The artist, Ernest Zawada, will wear original highlander costume, what will constitute the regional element.

Since September 2004, the Wyspa Institute of Art, in the grounds of Gdansk Shipyard in the building of the former Basic Shipbuilding School, has been the home of the Wyspa Progress Foundation, an innovative artistic organisation combining the presentation of contemporary art with deliberations on the shape of social culture.
