CAC Contemporary Art Center, Vilnius (www.cac.lt)

The Contemporary Art Centre (CAC) is the largest venue for contemporary art in Baltic states. The CAC presents the newest international tendencies in art. It also organises retrospective exhibitions of artists from Lithuania and abroad. The CAC events attract some 60 thousand visitors every year. Most CAC projects are documented in special publications. The CAC is popular meeting place in Vilnius.

Vartai Gallery, Vilnius (www.galerijavartai.lt)

The gallery was founded in 1991. Exhibition space covers 360 square metres of 5 exhibition halls. The gallery is owned by Nida Rutkiene. Orientation - contemporary Lithuania and International art. The main emphasis is granted to the abstract and figurative style of neoromantic trend, surrealism and naive art. Emotional appeal in art is prioritised over intellectual element. The gallery seeks artifacts distinguished by their professional polish and individual self-expression bearing ever lasting values.
