In the Centre of Århus you find 'Kulturcenter HUSET'. 'HUSET' (the HOUSE) is an open community art and craft centre where you can turn your creative ideas into reality. Huset Aarhus mirrored the constellation of the stars on the flag by placing 15 flags on 4 meter long poles on the square in front of the entrance.

Charlottenborg Exhibition Hall, built in 1883, shows throughout the year alternate Danish and international exhibitions of contemporary art, architecture and decorative arts. Floor area: The exhibition area is approx. 1.400 m2 consisting of 11 rooms with skylights, 8 day-lit rooms, one room with artificial lighting, and a foyer including a bookshop and a lunch restaurant.
