Arts Collaboratory is a programme for the support of visual artist-led initiatives in Africa, Asia and Latin America, and for exchange between these and visual arts organisations in the Netherlands. It provides financial support, facilitates knowledge sharing, and promotes networking and artistic exchange.
The daily management of Arts Collaboratory is carried out by Hivos. A Steering committee, consisting of representatives of DOEN, Mondriaan Foundation and Hivos, decides on the course and content of the programme as such and is responsible for the decision on the funding applications.
