Flag for the III Republic of Poland, 2001
Claiming that white and red colors are outdated, obsolete and not relevant in present day's reality, Gdansk's artist, Grzegorz Klaman, is proposing a new flag for the Polish III Republic - white and red separated by the black band to symbolise the mourning for high expectations, dreams of better future and bombastic promises of the politicians of various orientations.
The flag was first hoisted in downtown Cracow on March 15th, 2001 during the art exhibition on 'Cold War'.
