Merijn Oudenampsen is animator of the critical platform Flexmens.org. He has been involved in organising political projects and debates around flexibility and precarity, such as the PrecairForum in 2005, and a Mayday symposium at de Balie in 2006. He has written on gentrification, the vicissitudes of being a paperboy, zero tolerance and postfordism. At the moment he is writing his thesis on creative city branding, entrepreneurialism and gentrification in Amsterdam.
