nY
nY came into being in 2009 as a result of the fusion of two Flemish literary journals—yang (founded in 1963) and freespace Nieuwzuid (founded in 1999). This fusion took place because the arrival of the Internet has definitively changed the way literary journals function. nY is no longer a literary-cultural journal, as we have known them for almost two centuries now, but a cross-media project, the core of which is the intersection of a paper journal and this website.
Le salon
Le Salon is an online platform aimed at presenting, documenting and reflecting on the Brussels contemporary art scene. Le Salon is a curatorial project initiated by Devrim Bayar and developed in close collaboration with Virginie Devillez and Martin Laborde. Regular contributors and special guests are invited to contribute to the content of the website with reviews, interviews, studio visits or thematic texts.
Moon Life
Moon Life speculates on the possibility that humans will live in space in the future. The project examines the potentialities and challenges of life on the Moon not only in the fields of architecture and design but also for social, public and political life. Artists, architects and designers are encouraged to radical thinking towards concepts of habitat design for the Moon to create a platform for the public to engage with these notions and discuss the ‘publicness’ of the possibility for living on the Moon.
`Project 1975`
`Project 1975` is a two-year programme exploring the relationship between contemporary art and colonialism, organized by Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam. This blog functions as a platform for `Project 1975` and it will inform each visitor extensively about the programme. Global Art Museum
GAM – Global Art and the Museum was initiated by Peter Weibel and Hans Belting in 2006 at ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe. The project represents a first attempt at documenting the contested boundaries of today’s art world; its aim is to spark a debate on how the globalization process changes the art scene and to undertake a critical review of the development 20 years after its onset.

META exists at the crossroads of art and science and of culture and nature. Tracing the uncommon threads between common topics, META presents its readers with views into the abyss of visual information and with experiments in associative reading.
MER. Paper Kunsthalle
The MER. foundation was founded to examine the possibilities and position of the book medium as a place to exhibit art. The art book, since its beginnings, has traditionally been developed as a catalogue or an aide-mémoire, and seldom has been considered as a space to exhibit living art. However, artists from Dada to the appearance of the artist’s book have always thought of books as exhibiting spaces. MER. will be involved with providing this kind of activity through an institutional platform. MER. calls itself a Paper Kunsthalle, and plans to initiate, develop and support art exhibiting within the book medium.
Nowiswere
Nowiswere refers to the precise moment of ‘now’, its singular presence, and its multiple sets of associations. That is to say, whenever we produce an awareness of the ‘now’, whenever we pause and feel the ‘now’, that ‘now’, in its immediate relation to time, belongs to a certain past. Nowiswere states that each ‘now’ that is taken into prolific investigation of what it produces, is a ‘now’ that allows the embodiment of criticality in its stage of becoming. As a publication, Nowiswere aims to provide the ground for an accumulation of recent pasts given by cultural and artistic producers in their individual fields of interest.

Chto delat / What is to be done? was founded in early 2003 in Petersburg by a workgroup of artists, critics, philosophers, and writers from Petersburg, Moscow, and Nizhny Novgorod (see full list of participants on the web site) with the goal of merging political theory, art, and activism.
Raqs media collective
Raqs Media Collective has been variously described as artists, media practitioners, curators, researchers, editors and catalysts of cultural processes. Their work, which has been exhibited widely in major international spaces and events, locates them squarely along the intersections of contemporary art, historical enquiry, philosophical speculation, research and theory - often taking the form of installations, online and offline media objects, performances and encounters. They live and work in Delhi, based at Sarai, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, an initiative they co-founded in 2000. They are members of the editorial collective of the Sarai Reader series.

Dictionary of War | At least, when we create concepts, we are doing something
is a collaborative platform for creating concepts on the issue of war, to be invented, arranged and presented by scientists, artists, theorists and activists at public, two-day events. The aim is to create key concepts that either play a significant role in current discussions of war, have so far been neglected, or have yet to be created. The first 100 concepts have been produced in four editions in Frankfurt, Munich, Graz and Berlin over the past two years. Climate Debate Daily is intended to deepen our understanding of disputes over climate change and the human contribution to it. The main column on the left includes arguments and evidence generally in support of the IPCC position on the reality of signficant anthropogenic global warming. The right-hand column includes material skeptical of the IPCC position and the notion that anthropogenic global warming represents a genuine threat to humanity.

The Department of Reading is an online-based project displayed in different spatial configurations and designed to promote new forms of reading. In order to expose the act of reading in its potentiality the Department of Reading investigates, how the disposition of readers to comment and interfere with text can be made public as well as a mode to open texts towards their intricate textures. Thus one of the most crucial questions of the Department of Reading concerns the collectiveness of reading and asks, in how far such a collectivity is always already implied within the very texture of a given text. Examining the mechanisms of reading through reading, the labour reading takes, its time and space, the Department of Reading attempts to redraw the concept of reading and expose textures of predication.
